TRACK 1, RED:

Vermilion Roses - out of silence comes song. Perhaps the gentle tale of the beloved.
TRACK 2, ORANGE:
First Stirrings - like the murmuring of a young stream, the music quickens, calling us to awareness.
Peach Blossoms - the stream broadens, we relax to the comforting rocking of a boat.
Mahogany (Adagio from the Oboe Concerto in C Minor, by Alessandro Marcello) - this gorgeous, haunting work, here transposed into E Minor to capture the sonority of the cello, was written in the early 1700s.
TRACK 3, YELLOW:
Golden Sand - a change of pace, as a serene story-telling voice unfolds.
Jasmine Petals [:] - a whimsical zephyr lends a touch of perfume to the air.
Saffron Light (Afton Water) - gently meandering variations on a Scottish folk tune.
TRACK 4, GREEN: Emerald Opulence - a reverential nod to the Baroque style of the 18th century, allowing the cello to provide its own chords.
TRACK 5, BLUE:
Antique Sapphire (The Lady and the Dragon) - this touching old English folk melody invites us to muse on its meaning.
Azure Elegance - nearing day’s end, time to lie back and stare at the peaceful sky.
TRACK 6, INDIGO:
Stained Glass - homage to the hypnotic rhythms of Philip Glass.
Ancient Velvet (French Troubadour Melody) - this archaic piece offers its own unique motifs that lure us into a world of kaleidoscopic permutations.
Nightfall - as the light fades, we stretch and yawn. The music is interspersed with chord passages that bid us stop and enjoy the luxury.
TRACK 7, VIOLET:
Amethyst Luminance (Merry Widow Waltz, Franz Lehar) - ruminations on a familiar melody, as we emerge from our dreams.
